Maggie’s story
Maggie Condon is an ASLA-licensed landscape architect with over 20 years of professional experience. With a love for hands on work with nature, Maggie firmly believes in the power of landscape as a transformative experience. Maggie has extensive knowledge of how landscapes are built in the complex urban environment. This has translated into her special interest in material research, and constructing in highly crafted and durable methods.
Maggie has a broad range of built project experience including residential landscapes, government work, corporate campuses, research and development, entertainment districts, university campuses and urban waterfront parks.
After an accomplished career in fine arts and film, Maggie was inspired to become a landscape architect after having a vivid dream. Building her career at the industry leader HLW International, Maggie started her own practice, Maggie Condon Landscape Architecture, in 2009.
In 2015, Maggie became senior architect and project manager at Terrain, a landscape architecture firm based in New York City, where she continues to frequently collaborate in addition to her private work.
In addition to her urban design work in New York City, Maggie takes on private residential projects in Litchfield County, Connecticut, where she finds inspiration in the area’s rolling hills and lakes.
